Renewable Energy Scholarship Foundation Honors 2025 Scholars

Continuing its mission to support the next generation of clean energy leaders, the Renewable Energy Scholarship Foundation (RESF) remains a driving force in advancing sustainability through education.

The organization is dedicated to helping students in fields such as engineering, environmental science, policy, and sustainable technology turn academic potential into real-world impact.

The 2025 scholarship cycle of RESF prosudly honors two outstanding scholars, Tata Serebryany and Mathangi Venkatesh, whose work exemplifies the foundations mission. Their groundbreaking research and commitment to sustainability highlight the critical role students play in driving progress toward a cleaner and more resilient planet.

About the Renewable Energy Scholarship Foundation

RESF was founded in 2016 with a mission to support students pursuing careers in renewable energy across a wide range of disciplines, including science, engineering, policy, economics, and law. While it began with a focus on the Pacific Northwest, the foundation has steadily expanded its reach, now welcoming applicants from across the United States.

To date, RESF has awarded over 150 scholarships, helping students turn research and innovation into real-world solutions. By investing in academic potential, RESF plays a vital role in advancing clean energy progress and building a strong, sustainability-focused workforce for the future.

2025 Scholarship Program Overview

This year, RESF awarded two scholarships: the $7,000 Schneider Electric Scholarship and the $1,000 RESF Scholarship, recognizing students for their impactful work in renewable energy.

The scholarships support students who demonstrate innovative research, academic excellence, and active community engagement, aligning with RESFs mission to develop future leaders in clean energy.
