How to Install and Configure Your Netgear Orbi Router?
The Orbi router will not be the single WiFi unit in the content box. You will get whole unit with the satellites and Ethernet cable. It is not just plug and play, you have to configure the router from the computer or phone.

Unbox & Get Your Bearings
The Orbi box should have:

Install Orbi App on Your Phone
Open App Store or Google Play, search Orbi, and download the official Netgear Orbi app.
Open it. Create a Netgear account. Or log in if youve already got one.

The app will ask to scan the QR code on the Orbi router. Its under the unit. Just tilt it dont knock it over like I did.

1. Purple LED wont go away?
The Orbi purple light means the router not getting internet. Check your modem. Unplug everything, wait, re-plug in correct order: modem ? router ? satellite.

Make sure youre on the Orbi WiFi during setup. Dont try using mobile data or switching networks.
3. Satellite not pairing?
Hold the Sync button on the router, then on the satellite. LEDs should do a slow dance, then go blue. If not, reset the satellite and try again.
4. Cant access orbilogin.com?
Try the IP address: 192.168.1.1
